Transaction Issues & Support


⚠️ Hobby Market Pro cannot assist with transactions that happen outside the official offer process or that involve terms that weren’t properly agreed upon through our platform.



📦 Issues with an Order

If there’s a problem with a transaction, like an item that’s damaged, missing, or different than described, we encourage you to:

  1. Contact the other party directly
    – Reach out to the buyer or seller through the Activity Feed chat.
    – Clearly explain the issue and look for a mutually acceptable solution.

  2. File a support request if you can’t resolve it
    If you’re unable to work it out, you can file a Payment Assist request by clicking the flag icon next to the transaction.

    This must be done within 14 days of the accepted offer.


    ⚠️ Late-payment issues should be reported as quickly as possible — all deals must be paid within 2 business days unless an All-Star exception applies.

Important: Sellers cannot offer payment terms outside of those supported by Hobby Market Pro. Payment must be completed upfront unless an All-Star buyer is involved.


đź’¬ What Hobby Market Pro Can & Cannot Do

Hobby Market Pro provides a safe, efficient peer-to-peer marketplace — however, we don’t participate in transactions directly. That means we cannot make final decisions on disputes like:

  • Incorrect quantity shipped
  • Receiving the wrong product or variant
  • Issues with sealed packaging or shrink wrap

We can offer non-binding assistance and facilitate communication between members, but because we never physically inspect the product or shipment, we cannot take sides or verify claims.


đź’µ Payment via Hobby Market Pro Credits

If you pay using Hobby Market Pro credits, keep in mind that this is like sending a wire transfer or ACH — credits cannot be revoked once sent. The sender cannot request a return or cancellation of credits after they have been successfully transferred.


⚠️ Repeated Issues

If a member files multiple Payment Assist requests without valid cause or is found to have repeated transaction issues, Hobby Market Pro reserves the right to restrict or close their account at our discretion.
